Position Summary

Are you an interpersonal communicator who can navigate and support the functions of a dynamic and global company? Do you enjoy multi-tasking and taking leadership on various HR-related projects? Are you an innovator who can work on initiatives with the support of a close-knit team? If so, then this job is for you. This is a hybrid opportunity in which the successful candidate will be leading all Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Time& Attendance related activities and inquires. Furthermore, they will be encharged with organizing and coordinating company-wide Wellness initiatives as well as assisting in CSR activities.



Responsibilities

  • Be the expert and driver on all Compensation & Benefits, Timesheet & Attendance, and Payroll related matters.
  • Engage in assisting employees on their inquiries regarding compensation, social insurance, Japanese labor law, etc.
  • Manage external vendors (payroll) and key external relationships (financial, medical, and insurance.)
  • Communicate and work together on a regular basis with regional counterparts.


Requirements

  • Project Management experience including critical thinking and analysis skills
  • Innovative mindset for process improvement and innovation
  • Team Player
  • Systems knowledge: SAP, MS Word, PPT, Excel, Time & Attendance (Hoya T&A System)
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits, payroll/finance or accounting. Deep understanding and experience in regards to Japanese labor law.


Desirable Experience

  • Negotiation and consultation skills
  • Event planning experience (i.e. planning Wellness or CSR events)
  • Public speaking experience (i.e. facilitating Wellness or CSR events)
