Adobe and Tech Soft 3D partner to provide software developers with a Software Development Kit (SDK) for converting CAD data to 3D PDF, and for programmatically publishing rich 3D PDF files. By leveraging the Tech Soft 3D SDK, the ecosystem of desktop and server-based applications that are able to consume, enhance and publish 3D PDF data will grow, giving manufacturing customers the opportunity to select from a broad range of best-in-class applications. Examples of providers that use the Tech Soft 3D SDK include Tetra 4D and PROSTEP AG.
PROSTEP AG
Adobe and PROSTEP AG provide enterprise manufacturing customers with a complete solution for integrating 3D PDF into their PDM-driven workflows. PROSTEP AG provides a solution for producing 3D PDF files directly from 3D CAD data stored within popular product data management (PDM) systems and then publishing, managing, and protecting them as part of PLM processes with Adobe LiveCycle® ES2 software. PROSTEP AG's OpenPDM solution can integrate PDM data with data from ERP and other business systems into PDF templates, providing a single source of product data for downstream processes.
