Je crée des éléments de branding et des collections streetwear pour le studio de design Juan Chaco Industries.

Réaliser des esquisses avec l’outil Rotation générative d’Adobe Illustrator
Je commence par faire un croquis.
L'outil Rotation générative d'Adobe Illustrator permet de faire pivoter une illustration à 360 degrés sans avoir à la vectoriser.
C'est appréciable d'avoir à disposition des outils qui permettent de gagner du temps et de se concentrer sur la création en éliminant les tâches répétitives.
Pour ce projet, j'avais l'intention de créer un seul personnage, mais maintenant que j'ai du temps, je vais ajouter des souris et d'autres éléments.

Étape 1 : créer un personnage
Juan Afanador commence par réaliser un croquis. Ici, il a esquissé sur sa tablette un chat irrévérencieux avec un large sourire, puis a vectorisé l’illustration dans Adobe Illustrator, en regroupant chaque partie afin que le dessin puisse bouger d’un seul bloc.

Étape 2 : faire pivoter et incliner l’illustration avec l’outil Rotation générative
Après avoir sélectionné son félin, Juan Afanador a cliqué sur Rotation générative dans la barre des tâches contextuelle. Il a ensuite utilisé le curseur pour faire pivoter le personnage vers la gauche ou la droite, et l’a incliné vers le haut et le bas. « L’outil Rotation générative permet de faire pivoter une illustration à 360 degrés sans avoir à la vectoriser », explique-t-il.

Étape 3 : placer les vues sur la zone de travail
Dans le menu Rotation générative, Juan Afanador a sélectionné Placer toutes les vues sur la zone de travail pour voir l’intégralité des poses, puis a choisi celles reflétant le mieux l’attitude d’un chat.

Étape 4 : finaliser et préparer l’illustration pour la production
Une fois sa vue préférée en place, Juan Afanador a affiné les traits, appliqué des couleurs saturées qui caractérisent son style et préparé l’illustration pour le print ou l’animation. « La plupart des profils créatifs considèrent les outils d’IA comme une menace, mais c’est tout le contraire, affirme-t-il. Ils valorisent réellement notre art. »
