How to generate video in Adobe Firefly.

Step 1

Open Adobe Firefly.

Sign in to Adobe Firefly with your Adobe ID or create a free account if you don’t already have one. Select Generate Video from the Video tab in the left hand menu.

Step 2

Choose an AI model.

From the dropdown menu, choose the Adobe Firefly video model or a partner model such as Google Veo, or Runway.

Step 3

Write a text prompt or upload an image.

The more detailed your prompt, the better. Include details such as style, angle, shot distance, effects, color grading, subjects, and any other elements or descriptors to generate video that matches your vision. You can also upload an image that you want Adobe Firefly to put to motion. In this case, you should also use the text prompt to describe how you want the image brought to life.

Step 4

Generate your video.

When you’re satisfied with your prompt, click Generate. The AI generated video results will appear shortly. If you like the video, use the Download button in the top right to download as an MP4 file.

Step 5

Refine, revise, and regenerate.

Play with settings to explore different variations. Use the settings in the left panel to adjust the aspect ratio, camera angle, and motion.
