I'm an instructor on the Adobe Learn team.
In this video, I'm going to show you some ways to use Scan to PDF in Acrobat on mobile.
The example we'll use is a restaurant receipt.
We'll query it in Acrobat to see what the valid expenses are for an expense report.
That's right - Adobe's AI will answer your questions about the receipt.
Let's see how this works.
Scan your receipt on mobile
In Acrobat on mobile, tap Scan to PDF.
I'll take a photo of a receipt I kept after I ate out on a trip recently. [camera shutter clicks] Alternatively, I could tap to open a photo of the receipt from my camera roll.
If you have only an e-copy of the receipt - let's say the restaurant sent it to you via text - you can view the receipt and then choose Convert to PDF in Acrobat from among your phone's many share options.
No matter how you do it, once it's a PDF in Acrobat, you can use Adobe's AI to query it.
Query your receipt with the AI Assistant
For example, try this prompt: "Sum the food versus drinks totals separately and tell me what food expenses I can put in my expense report."
The answer will appear right away.
You might be surprised by its thoroughness.
