Adobe depends on the assistance of partners who focus on preventing the spread of piracy through education and legal enforcement. We are committed to helping them protect our customers by stopping the spread of piracy.
Trade associations |
Through our trade associations, there have been great strides in stopping the distribution and use of pirated software. We are committed to working with our partners to educate individuals and businesses and come up with new ways to stop software piracy. By keeping the pressure on illegal sellers and promoting software asset management, we expect to have continued success.
The Business Software Alliance (BSA) is the voice of the software industry on a wide range of business and policy affairs. One if its key goals is to advance free and open world trade for legitimate software by advocating strong intellectual property protection.
The Anti-Piracy Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) conducts a comprehensive, industry-wide campaign to fight software piracy and content piracy. The proactive campaign is based on the notion that enforcement must be balanced with education in order to be effective.
