Release to Layers command
Create animation without a timeline by using layers as a series of frames in an animation. The Release to Layers command ungroups blends or objects attached to a path and assigns each ungrouped object to a layer in consecutive order.
Use Release to Layers on groups, blends, text, and objects, or text attached to a path.
Animation effects
With the Release to Layers feature, you can quickly build animations for Adobe® Flash®, Fireworks®, Photoshop®, and After Effects® with frame-by-frame animation effects.
You choose how objects are distributed across layers, depending on the desired effect. You can sequence objects for a standard animation, build to create an additive effect, drop for a subtractive effective, or trail for a motion effect.
