1 Conversion du texte
Erica Larson a utilisé l’outil Texte pour ajouter une esperluette en police Blenny Black, pour laquelle elle a sélectionné le paramètre de lissage Arrondi. Elle a ensuite cliqué avec le bouton droit de la souris sur le calque de texte et l’a converti en objet dynamique afin de pouvoir lui appliquer des effets spéciaux.
2 Fusion du calque
Pour obtenir l’aspect produit par la pulvérisation de peinture, Erica Larson a choisi le mode de fusion Fondu pour le calque de texte. Le changement n’est pas encore perceptible.
3 Définition des points de flou
Erica Larson a utilisé l’outil Flou de profondeur de champ (Filtre > Galerie d’effets de flou > Flou de profondeur de champ) pour appliquer différents effets pointillistes de manière sélective. Lorsqu’elle a activé l’outil, Photoshop a automatiquement placé la première épingle. Erica Larson l’a déplacée, en a ajouté une seconde en haut à droite et a augmenté l’intensité du flou.
4 Accentuation de l’effet de flou
Erica Larson a ainsi ajouté plusieurs épingles, chacune avec sa propre intensité de flou, pour renforcer l’effet au niveau des bords extérieurs de l’esperluette.
5 Choix d’un pinceau souple
Erica Larson a ensuite sélectionné l’outil Pinceau pour ajouter quelques détails supplémentaires. Elle a choisi un pinceau à pointe souple arrondie, dont elle a réduit l’opacité.
6 Ajout d’un effet d’usure
Erica Larson voulait obtenir un aspect vieilli. Elle a donc ajouté un masque de fusion au calque de texte. Elle a ensuite peint une partie du masque avec un pinceau noir afin de révéler le motif fondu de certaines parties de l’esperluette.
7 Adoucissement des bords
Pour finir, Erica Larson a cliqué avec le bouton droit de la souris pour convertir le calque en objet dynamique et sélectionné le mode de fusion Normal. Elle a ensuite utilisé un flou gaussien (Filtre > Flou > Flou gaussien) pour adoucir les contours.
