Top of the Nation Enterprises

Setting themselves apart from the competition

Implementing video

Founded in 1994 by Todd Cotton, Top of the Nation Enterprises, Inc. is a global marketing firm that specializes in state-of-the-art website design and hosting. Keeping up-to-date on the broadband, Internet, and video market, Cotton came across Visual Communicator® software. "I am always looking to enhance my bottom line," comments Cotton. "For the price point, Visual Communicator is very reasonable for what you get."

Cotton was instantly impressed with Visual Communicator. He knew that Visual Communicator could be easily integrated into his clients' marketing plans as an added benefit. "Anytime I can offer increased value for my clients, I do," says Cotton. "Visual Communicator gives me a unique and creative new medium that enhances my product offering and helps me to set my clients — and myself — apart from the competition. I provide them with videos, and once they see what it does for them, my revenues increase because they want me to create more."

Video in the future

Cotton expects to use Visual Communicator for all the websites his company builds, maintains, and hosts. Currently, he is creating one- to two-minute videos that provide his clients with a basic intro and overview of their company, product, or service. He sees Visual Communicator as a big part of his business and believes that its use will only continue to expand as clients are introduced to it. "The clients that I have created videos for are very impressed," says Cotton. "I can definitely see that creating these videos could grow into a business all its own."

Having never created videos before, Cotton found the features of Visual Communicator to be very easy to use. Cotton is absolutely amazed by the TV studio quality he can create using the professional transitions, audio, and virtual backgrounds. He is equally impressed that he can take Visual Communicator anywhere.

"With Visual Communicator, I can travel to a client's site, prop up a green screen, clip on the microphone, type the information into the teleprompter, and create my videos right there," states Cotton. "It looks like I spent hours creating it, and I have something that looks like the nightly news."
