How to upgrade

1. Make sure your copy of Visual Communicator is eligible for upgrade. Free trial products, Not For Resale versions, and beta versions cannot be upgraded.
2. Buy your upgrade through:

3. Install your new upgrade. Visual Communicator 3 will automatically detect the previous version of the product.
4. Register your upgrade to receive a variety of benefits. The free 90-day technical support period becomes activated with your first phone call to Adobe Technical Support.

Upgrade policy

What product versions are eligible for upgrade pricing?

Adobe allows customers purchasing products to take advantage of low upgrade prices when upgrading from the two previous releases of each product. Effective January 1, 2003, customers with versions older than the two previous releases of a product are no longer eligible for upgrade pricing when purchasing the current version.
