The Acrobat 5.0 Make Accessible plug-in (U.S.)

This free plug-in works with the full version of Acrobat 5.0 for Windows®. This tool automatically analyzes the logical structure of a document and creates a new, tagged Adobe PDF file that will read more clearly with a screen reader or other assistive technology device.

The Acrobat 5.0 Paper Capture plug-in (U.S.)

This free plug-in works with the full version of Acrobat 5.0 for Windows. This tool is designed to help people who create or manage documents. It lets them apply optical character recognition (OCR) to the scanned image of a paper-based document. The resulting Adobe PDF file contains computer-generated text, which is necessary for making the file's information accessible via screen readers or other assistive technologies.

Acrobat 5.0.5 update (U.S.)

This Acrobat update is for people who own the full version of Adobe Acrobat 5.0. It includes several accessibility enhancements including changing the reading order of text and better handling of typographic letter combinations known as ligatures.

Acrobat 5.0.5 Accessibility and Forms patch (U.S.)
