Comprendre les objets vectoriels
Vous pouvez aussi bien manipuler des objets vectoriels que des images pixellisées dans Photoshop. Une fois que vous aurez compris la différence entre ces deux concepts, vous saurez ce qu’il convient d’utiliser et quand.
Un objet vectoriel est créé mathématiquement et possède des courbes lisses reliées par des points. Les contours d’un objet vectoriel restent nets, quel que soit le niveau d’agrandissement ou de réduction de l’objet. Les objets vectoriels sont indispensables pour les logos, icônes et autres designs que vous envisagez d’utiliser dans différentes tailles.
Une image pixellisée est constituée de pixels (de minuscules carrés d’informations d’image disposés dans une grille). Les images pixellisées sont idéales pour représenter les multiples tonalités et couleurs d’une photo. Toutefois, lorsque vous agrandissez une image pixellisée, les petits carrés situés sur ses contours deviennent visibles. Les images pixellisées ne sont donc pas idéales pour les illustrations que vous projetez d’agrandir.

Le moyen le plus simple de créer un objet vectoriel dans Photoshop est d’utiliser les outils de forme. Même si vous n’êtes pas graphiste, vous pourrez rapidement créer des formes géométriques ou personnalisées avec ces outils.
Une fois que vous aurez acquis les compétences requises, essayez de créer entièrement vos propres objets vectoriels à l’aide des outils Courbure et Plume de Photoshop.
Vous pouvez également importer des objets vectoriels d’autres sources, comme Illustrator, l’application de dessin vectoriel dédiée d’Adobe.
Explorer des formes personnalisées prédéfinies
Photoshop propose des centaines de formes vectorielles prédéfinies appelées « formes personnalisées ». Il vous suffit de faire glisser l’outil Forme personnalisée pour créer une illustration.
Comme les formes personnalisées sont créées sur des calques de forme distincts, vous pouvez modifier une forme sans toucher au reste de l’image. Vous pouvez rapidement en changer la couleur et l’échelle, la transformer ou utiliser les outils de modification vectorielle de Photoshop pour changer de forme.

Photoshop offre des outils dédiés pour dessiner des formes géométriques de base, telles que des rectangles, des cercles et des traits. Essayez de créer des illustrations originales en associant des formes géométriques de base.
