To rearrange PDF pages on your phone or tablet simply follow these five steps:
- Open the online Acrobat tool on your chosen mobile device.
- Upload your chosen PDF and sign in.
- Highlight the individual page thumbnails, then drag and drop to reorder.
- Save the PDF to your Adobe account online.
- Download the file or share the link with your friends and colleagues.
You can rearrange PDF files on a Windows 10 device with either a local editor or an online tool.
Using a local PDF editor:
- Install trusted PDF editor on your Windows 10 device, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Open the PDF you’d like to rearrange.
- Click on the small arrow on the left to expand your toolbar.
- Choose the Page Thumbnails icon.
- Drag the thumbnails of each page until they’re in the right order.
- Save your changes, then close the PDF.

- Open your preferred web browser on your Windows 10 device.

- You can rearrange the position of an image on a PDF page using Adobe Acrobat. Start by hovering over the image.
- When the move icon appears, press and hold it.
- You’ll then be able to drag the image to the correct position on the page.
You won’t be able to move or rearrange PDF pages if the file has certain protections. For example, the document might have a security password or restricted editing:
- Document-open password. This stops you from opening the PDF without the right password.
- Permissions password. This type of password can prevent you from taking certain actions. For example, editing or copying the content in the PDF.
To gain full access, you’ll likely have to get in touch with the file owner or creator.
