Included with Adobe® LiveCycle® Forms ES3 is Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES3, providing intuitive, graphical design capabilities that make it easy to design and deploy forms that re-create the exact look and feel of existing paper-based forms. You can also take advantage of form fragments, which are collections of fields, objects, and scripts packaged together in a reusable component (for example, address blocks or financial information sections). Form fragments make it easy to quickly create new forms using prebuilt fragments and to automatically update changes to forms that leverage global fragments. You can also assemble multiple PDF forms into a single PDF form package, so people can quickly and easily find all the necessary forms for their transaction.

Like all LiveCycle ES3 modules, Forms ES3 provides native support for XML, so you can leverage existing enterprise applications for rapid form deployment and data exchange with core business systems. You can embed PDF forms with content and data from key applications and add calculations and validations that automatically verify information as a user completes a form. By offering an avenue for returning captured data to key applications via SOAP-based interfaces, Forms ES3 further leverages investments in your existing applications and processes, speeding up processing times and reducing the risk of human error.

Integrate with other LiveCycle modules

By deploying Forms ES3 in conjunction with other LiveCycle modules, you can extend the functionality of your forms automation solution. For example, use Adobe LiveCycle Digital Signatures ES3 to provide security outside your core systems and beyond the firewall. Use Adobe LiveCycle Process Management ES3 to automate form-driven business processes. And use Adobe LiveCycle Reader® Extensions ES3 to enable people to fill out forms offline and then submit the completed forms by mail or fax with dynamic 2D barcode technology. Based on open standards and built on J2EE, all LiveCycle modules can be easily integrated with existing enterprise infrastructures.
