Design and model processes using LiveCycle Workbench ES

Using LiveCycle Workbench ES, both IT and business professionals can assemble business processes without coding. Reusable services enable the rapid assembly of even the most complex processes. Each process action — entering data, routing information, sending an e-mail, or invoking a web service — is represented by a service. Business analysts then assemble applications in a visual drag-and-drop environment using LiveCycle Workbench ES.

Integrate processes with core business systems

LiveCycle ES supports document-based and rich Internet application (RIA) process integration with most core business applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), document management, directory services, databases, and web services. As a result, you can leverage your existing IT infrastructure by extending into new environments.

Deploy processes with intelligent documents and RIAs

End users can participate in processes using HTML, PDF, or SWF forms, which facilitate data capture, decrease cycle times, and improve data quality. With intelligent forms and Adobe Flash® Player compatible form guides, users can interact with processes online or offline with PDF documents that they can save and print. Administrators can set up more secure communications with digital signatures and access rights, and they can automate the conversion of forms and documents from paper to electronic PDF files.

Using the real-time performance dashboard, you can monitor process cycle times, backlogs, work queues, and key performance indicators (KPIs). You can enable alerts, reminders, calendars, and escalations to let analysts know of potential problems before they occur, so they can take corrective action.
