With Adobe® LiveCycle® ES and Adobe Solution Accelerators, you can simplify citizen and business services enrollment, increase productivity by streamlining data collection and sharing across agencies and service providers, and ensure compliant correspondence on services eligibility and determination.
Adobe currently offers the following Solution Accelerators for government:
With Adobe LiveCycle ES and the Services Enrollment Solution Accelerator, your organization can make it easier for citizens to sign up for services by streamlining enrollment processes, minimizing repeated data entry, and delivering tailored information to citizens with ease.

The Selection and Capture module enables the following capabilities:
The Selection and Capture module includes:
Enable end users to fill in forms with this framework that supports the dynamic (data-driven/data-based) selection and display of forms. It enables PDF forms and Form Guides to be deployed on a LiveCycle server and associated with specific kinds of attributes that are used to categorize the forms. A rich Internet application is used to query end users for specific information about the kind of forms they need to complete. The framework then displays the appropriate form. Additionally, this framework includes an administrative console (with source code for customization/inclusion into another application interface) that supports the deployment of forms based on attribute association.
Use code samples and documentation to integrate a third-party rules engine or custom Java code for decision-making support in rules-based document and form assembly.
Support multiple client data capture channels, including custom PDF and RIA, Form Guides, and fill-and-print channel forms with barcodes.
Support document assurance with document certification and digital signatures, document encryption, and document policy enforcement.
Integrate LiveCycle with common security and identity management systems.
Support custom rich Intranet applications as the data capture interface for an enrollment application, and integrate with common data persistence systems (such as RDBMS, Spring, and EJB).
Ensure enrollment user interfaces support standard accessibility requirements (such as 508c and Americans with Disabilities Act).
Dynamically assemble PDF documents and PDF fragments based on runtime available data.
Automate data collection and reduce common errors in data capture forms by using 2D barcodes containing form data.
The Processing and Approval module enables the following capabilities:
The Processing and Approval module includes:
Build complex verification and validation workflows that support verification and validation mechanisms, including the integration of these systems with third-party systems (for credit scoring or identity verification).
Use prebuilt workflow components for setting up an approval and routing chain or workflow. Conditional parameters (such as level of authorization or number of approvals) can be provided to deployable processes via a properties interface.
Define an exception process and conditions that can be defined per workflow or chain, including identification of escalation rules and routing based on escalations. Escalation data values are passed at runtime into the process, and the process invokes an external system based on the logic in the process.
Support synchronous and asynchronous communication and collaboration, including VOIP, video sharing, and commenting inside enrollment applications.
The Provisioning and Document Generation module enables the following capabilities:
The Provisioning and Document Generation module includes:
Integrate LiveCycle ES with existing data stores to read and write data to and from LiveCycle.
Invoke synchronous events using LiveCycle Data Services ES messaging and asynchronous notifications such as e-mail or creating a work list item.
Integrate enrollment solutions with standard reporting systems as well as generate highly customized reports and charts.
Generate and personalize documents and forms based on data available only at runtime.
Generate archive-ready (PDF/A) content with LiveCycle Content Services ES and long-lived Enterprise Content Management systems.
Integrate LiveCycle applications with existing EII infrastructure and support execution of data transformations.
Invoke custom Java classes or objects inside a LiveCycle ES process.
With Adobe LiveCycle ES and the Correspondence Management Solution Accelerator, your organization can automate the generation of various types of communication — from simple notifications and confirmations to more complex communications such as statements or regulatory documents — while helping to ensure compliance, integrity, authenticity, and confidentiality of personal information.
Use this module to preview content in real time, pick templates based on runtime criteria, display paragraphs related to specific data or a specific scenario, add freeform or personalized content, and ensure letters comply with preset policies.

The Document Assembly module enables the following capabilities:
The Document Assembly module includes:
View content that is being created in real time with this rich Internet application that supports human-interactive document assembly (that is, letter filling and document assembly).
Use this template-based framework and invokable service that supports automated invocation and batch processing of documents that are programmatically assembled and generated on a server.
Generate electronic documents in PDF for correspondence as well as archiving.
Take advantage of support for high-speed or on-demand (ad hoc) printing of documents.
The Content Creation Components module enables the following capabilities:
The Content Creation Components module includes:
Create, edit, delete, and manage content used in correspondence management document templates.
Lay out and define a template that will be used to generate documents in a correspondence management solution.
Use Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES, an Eclipse™ based IDE, to build correspondence management templates and content.
The Application Services and Frameworks module enables the following capabilities:
The Application Services and Frameworks module includes:
Design documents stored in a content management system.
Create a system for categorizing documents in the LiveCycle ES repository.
Take advantage of prebuilt components and documentation that show you how to create PDF/A content and how to integrate LiveCycle generated PDF/A content with both LiveCycle Content Services and long-lived ECM systems leveraging LiveCycle ES Connectors for IBM FileNet and EMC Documentum.
Retrieve logging information and metrics with Adobe Flex® charting components.
Integrate LiveCycle applications with existing EII infrastructure and support execution of data transformations.
Use this invokable service to generate PDF documents, such as policy-protected documents, encrypted documents, and certified or digitally signed documents.
Develop rules (or decision-making logic) describing how documents will be assembled at runtime, and more easily integrate third-party rules engines into LiveCycle applications.
Query assets in the repository based on attributes, and leverage third-party rule engines for advanced decisioning capabilities.
