Adobe® LiveCycle® Barcoded Forms ES software was first introduced to the LiveCycle family with LiveCycle 7.0. With the release of LiveCycle ES2, all capabilities of LiveCycle Barcoded Forms are now included with the Adobe LiveCycle Reader® Extensions ES2 module.
Customers with a Barcoded Forms ES license and an up-to-date Platinum Maintenance and Support agreement will receive a license of Reader Extensions ES2 in exchange for their current license. Customers with existing licenses for Reader Extensions can now enable barcoded form capabilities when they upgrade to Reader Extensions ES2.

- In order to simplify our offering and continue to provide value to our customers, we now include LiveCycle Barcoded Forms with LiveCycle Reader Extensions. Since customers required a license of Reader Extensions to use Barcoded Forms in v7.5, simply upgrade you Reader Extension license to ES2 to get Barcoded Forms.
- What happens if I purchased LiveCycle Barcoded Forms v8?
- LiveCycle Barcoded Forms v8 included Reader Extensions capability as part of the license. Upon upgrade, your Barcoded Forms licenses will be converted to Reader Extensions licenses.
