Shawn McDaniel

Shawn’s passion for filmmaking started early, making movies for his family, which inspired him to move to LA and pursue a career in the film industry. His journey began as a video editor for Buzzfeed, MGM, and Riot Games. He also worked as a trainer at Apple for five years before moving to Frame.io. There, he started in customer support, addressing workflow issues, and later joined the Frame.io marketing team. He created a series of training videos called "Tip of the Week" and "Short Cuts developed the virtual event program Frame.io Live. Now at Adobe, Shawn serves as a Video Evangelist, focusing on content creation to engage and inspire the creative community.

After teaching film production at Santa Barbara City College for 3 years, he started his Youtube channel with a goal of teaching the art of video production to the masses. The Olufemii YouTube Channel now commands an audience of over 500,000 subscribers from its new home base in Atlanta, Georgia. Josh has spoken at Adobe Max 2021 and Vidcon US & AUS, and over the years, his talents have been recognized by industry giants, leading him to collaborate with renowned artists such as Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Don Jazzy and more.
