What is Adobe Liquid Mode?
Learn how you can better view and navigate mobile PDFs on the fly with Adobe Liquid Mode.
If you’ve ever read a PDF on your smartphone or tablet, chances are you’ve probably gotten frustrated by the amount of pinching and zooming you had to do. Not only can this be a nuisance, but you might also miss or overlook important details within the document. To help you counter these pitfalls, let’s explore how you can use Adobe Liquid Mode to better your mobile viewing experience.
Better views on the go with Liquid Mode.
Like reader modes on websites, Liquid Mode turns PDFs into a more readable format for smaller screens. You can rest assured that it doesn’t change the PDF itself, but rather, it reformats headings, paragraphs, and images to create a better flow for mobile viewing. Plus, it creates an outline with collapsible and expandable sections for you to easily navigate within larger documents.
Liquid Mode also makes mobile PDFs more responsive to your needs. You can search text within the document, expand its images, and — to make it even easier on the eyes — alter the font size and spacing between words to suit your reading preference.
How to use Liquid Mode.
To activate Liquid Mode when you’re within the app, all you need to do is tap the liquid icon at the top of the navigation. This icon is identifiable by a single drop over multiple text lines. To close Liquid Mode, simply tap the icon again.
