  • Updates to “Can Children Use Adobe Apps and Websites?” to reflect the release of the new children’s creativity tool called “Project Aqua and to provide the associated “Project Aqua Children’s Privacy Notice”
  • Updates to the Location Specific Privacy Rights Page to accommodate new US State Privacy laws
  • Added a link to reference the Supplemental Privacy Notice Regarding Communications with Adobe Workers
  • Added link to reference the US Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice, which is required under new US state laws.
  • Updates to reflect a change in our contracting entity from Adobe Ireland to Adobe KK for customers in Japan
  • We resolved an erroneous omission in the section “How does Adobe use the information it collects about you, and what are the legal bases for these uses?’”

  • Clarified (a) that our Privacy Policy applies only when Adobe is acting as a data controller and (b) when supplemental privacy notices apply;
  • Provided clearer information about Adobe’s compliance with applicable global laws around sensitive data, regulatory standards and privacy rights;
  • Added examples in the Sensitive Personal Information sub section;
  • Added this “Adobe Privacy Policy Version History” page to provide a summary of the latest changes to our Privacy Policy;
  • Added up-front links to applicable location specific content for easier navigation;
  • Removed (a) duplicative content from the Privacy Policy covered in our Cookies Policy and Cross Border Data Transfers page and (b) references to technology we no longer offer or support (e.g., “local shared objects” which were used with Flash technology); and
  • Replaced and consolidated U.S. State and country specific Privacy Rights with a Location Specific Privacy Rights and Information Notice.
