Acrobat X lets you quickly set up a shared online review of any PDF file, which can include drawings, spreadsheets, web pages, and even video. Both internal and external team members can access and review content more securely. Simply choose desired reviewers, set a deadline, and let Acrobat publish your shared document using free hosting services at Acrobat.com or an internal server of your choice. Acrobat lets you track participation, send out team updates, remind people to participate, and even change the deadline.
Acrobat X Pro enables anyone using Adobe Reader 9 or X to fully participate in a shared review. Reviewers use a complete set of familiar commenting tools — including sticky notes, shapes, highlighters, lines, and stamps — to share their feedback. Because participants can see and build on each other's comments, they can come to agreement more quickly. Reviewers can even add a file attachment or recorded audio to provide additional background.
You can gain significant time savings by reviewing a single PDF file instead of sifting through dozens of email messages. Acrobat provides a searchable comments list of all team feedback that you can sort by page, author, type, and date. Add check marks or change the status of a comment to make sure you catch everything. If you created your original document in Microsoft Word, you can export the PDF comments back to the Word document and quickly apply any required text changes. Acrobat also lets you save an archive of all comments, providing a valuable audit trail.
