Photoshop CS2 pauses when you paint quickly (Mac OS)
Issue
When you paint quick strokes with the brush or another tool, Adobe Photoshop CS2 pauses for 5 to 20 seconds before painting your stokes to the screen.
Detail
You have more than 4 GB of physical RAM installed on your computer.
Solutions
Do one of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Install the Disable VM Buffering plug-in.
Download and install this plug-in from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/downloads .
Solution 2: Install the Photoshop CS2 9.0.1 update.
If your computer completely freezes, or if you have less than 4 GB of RAM installed, refer to Related Documents below and downloadand install the update from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/downloads .
