Many designers have considered organizing design information to create a style guide. However, it can be difficult to effectively use style guides in the actual workplace. In many use cases, the style guides are abandoned due to the difficulty of understanding and using UI kits and guidelines. In this session, we’ll use Adobe XD components and functions such as Stacks to create a UI kit that can not only be easily applied to individual parts, such as colors and icons, but also to layout. We’ll also consider how to create a style guide that can be used in the workplace by combining animations and prototypes.

You’ll learn about:

  • The behavior of components and states
  • How to make materials for automating layout
  • Dynamic style guides using prototypes
