To edit a video with text in Adobe Premiere, create a new Title clip, add your desired text, and customize its appearance. Place the Title clip on the Timeline above your video clips. Transcript-based editing in Adobe Premiere refers to the ability to generate a text transcript from the audio in your video clips. To enable text-based editing in Adobe Premiere, go to the Workflow workspace and select the Transcription tool. You can then transcribe audio from your video clips or import an existing transcript file. Once the transcript is available, you can edit the text directly, and Premiere will automatically update the corresponding video and audio segments based on your text edits.
While importing your media, you can enable Automatic transcription under Import settings. Alternatively, you can right-click on a video file in the Project panel and select Transcribe. Or if you open the Text panel, you'll see a button to transcribe the clip.
