How to time objects or text within your video.
A video with moving parts and pieces is an excellent way to engage your audience.
First, upload your video asset and add any elements you want to time.
A Timeline will appear at the bottom of your screen.
Click Show layer timing to see where each object appears in your video.
Manage an object's timing by clicking and dragging the bar to shorten or lengthen the time it appears in your video.
This works with text, backgrounds and any other object in your design.

Adjusting the timing of objects or text within a video gives you control over when objects appear and disappear. It’s quick and easy to do this in Adobe Express. Here’s how.
Whether you’re using a template or your own video, start by opening it in the Editor. You can choose from a variety of video templates for your Instagram Story, YouTube videos, and more.
Click the video to select it and show the timeline.
Make sure to turn on the Show layer timing toggle. Now you can see both the video timeline and the timing of the objects that appear in the video.
The objects appear as layers in the upper-right corner of the Editor.
Click a layer to show where it appears in the timeline.
Adjust a layer’s timing by dragging the top bar.
