How to start a video from scratch.
There are two ways to start a video from scratch in Adobe Express.
Option 1: Starting a video with your own content
Option 1, use a video you already have.
Select For you and choose Start from your content.
Add a video from your device.
Click Create new and choose a format.
Unless you have something specific in mind, Original aspect ratio is a good place to start.
Option 2, use content from the Adobe Express library.
Option 2: Creating a video using Adobe Express library
From the Home screen, open the Create menu and select View all.
Then choose the type of video you want.
Pick something from the Videos library.
Now you're able to edit your video or add additional videos as new scenes.

Start a video from the ground up
You don’t need to be a pro to make video magic. There are two easy ways to make a video in Adobe Express. Each option lets you create a polished finished product from an easy-to-use video editing interface.
Option 1: Upload your own video.
This option starts with video you already have. From the For you or Video category on the home page, choose Start from your content.
Add a video from your device, click Create new, and choose a format. Unless you have something specific in mind, “original aspect ratio” is a good place to start.
Option 2: Use the Adobe Express library.
The other option uses content from the Adobe Express library to create a new video. From the Home screen, hover over the video format you want and click Create from scratch. Search and select a video from the thousands available in Adobe Stock.
Edit the video and add scenes
Once you’ve completed either of these options, you’re now in the Editor. Here is where you can easily edit your video or add additional videos as new scenes.
