Add AI sound effects and mix your audio
Copy paste this first clip using Cmd+C or Ctrl+C, and then Cmd/Ctrl+V to paste.
Next, we'll separate the video and audio so that we can use the audio from this clip.
Right-click and select Separate audio.
We'll click and drag this audio clip under our AI-generated clip so we have footsteps.
And we'll delete this video clip because we don't need that anymore.
Then we'll trim up our audio clip so that the footsteps end right before the opening of the bush. [silent clip playing] Let's add some rustling leaves for our sound effects.
We'll go up to the top right-hand corner and select Generate media.
Go over to the Sound Effects tab and type in "Rustling leaves."
Then we'll trim our Duration just a touch because we don't need a full 8 seconds and then hit Generate.
Firefly will generate a few options for us, so we can have a listen and pick the one that we think works best.
Once you've found one that you like, there is a + button on the right side of that audio clip.
You click that and it will automatically add it to your Timeline.
We'll trim our rustling leaves so that they only rustle while they're moving.
We're ready to add our second sound effect.
We'll head back up to the Generate media panel and type in "exotic birds singing."
Then we'll go ahead and Generate again.
Firefly gives us a few different options again; we'll just scrub through these and find one that is going to work the best for us.
We'll trim up this audio layer here for the birds, and I'm going to start it on a different layer actually, so that there's some overlap between the rustling leaves and our exotic birds singing.
Once we're happy with the timing of our audio, we can start working on the mix.
With the audio track selected, we go up to Properties in the top right corner and adjust the Volume for each of the audio tracks so the mix feels balanced.
Once everything's dialed in, let's sit back and have a look at our work. [footsteps] [rustling leaves] [birds chirping] Good sound design makes everything land harder.
When you're happy with the mix, hit Download, which is like your Render or Export button.
Your finished video goes straight to your Downloads folder, ready to share.
Real footage, AI-generated clips, and a full sound design, all built in a browser in minutes - no templates, no limits, no excuses.
Now go make something that stops the scroll.
