Using the Text to Vector Graphic feature, I want to share some tips with you on how to dial in the color for your patterns.
When you create a pattern using the Text to Vector Graphic feature and you type in a prompt, you can generally influence the color with the prompt, maybe by saying bright or dark.
But what if you want to use colors like brand colors or other specific colors for your pattern?
Here's how.
First, if you want to use specific colors, make sure you save them in the Swatches panel.
You can see the colors I saved in this project.
Now describe your pattern with a prompt using Text to Vector Graphic.
Instead of just clicking Generate right away, you can control the color using the color controls you see here.
You can see these in the Properties panel or the Text to Vector Graphic panel.
First, decide what mood you're going for with the Preset.
I think these camping icons should be a little more vibrant.
You can also limit the number of colors.
I'll choose 3 so it more closely matches the flyer.
And you can also specify which colors to use by adding those saved swatches here.
These could be your brand colors.
Click Generate and you've got a new, more refined pattern.
Being able to refine the color of your patterns just the way you like, can open a lot more creative possibilities.
Why don't you try practicing by adding another pattern to this file and see what you can make?
