If you can imagine it, you can add it to your image using generative fill.
I'm Anna McNaught and I'm going to show you how to go from this to this in just a few steps.
It all starts with selecting part of your image.
In the toolbar, select the Rectangular Marquee Tool.
Draw a large rectangular selection just below the mountain and over the rocky area.
The selection tells Photoshop where to add.
Below the selection is the contextual taskbar.
Click Generative Fill and type the words lake with ripples and click generate.
Wait for the magic to happen and check out the results.
When you generate, you'll see your variations appear in the properties panel.
Choose your favorite version.
Now let's add a moon to the sky.
Choose the Rectangular Marquee Tool from the toolbar and click and drag a square selection in the left corner.
Your selection size and shape will affect your prompts outcome.
In the contextual taskbar, click Generative Fill.
Now it's your turn to write a prompt.
You could use just moon for more open ended results or full glowing Moon for finer control.
Descriptive details will generate more specific results.
Type your prompt and click generate.
Click through the moon variations in the properties panel to find one that looks the best, or generate again for more results.
To keep adding to your image, make a new selection.
If you want to remove something you've generated, select the newly added layer in the layers panel and click the Trash can icon to delete it.
Go ahead, explore a variety of prompts and see what you create.
The possibilities are endless.
