Export images to share on social media, with friends, or in a creative project.

Introduction
When you're ready to share your Photoshop on iPhone designs, a variety of formats are available to get you quickly posting your creations to the world.
I'm Howard Pinsky, and in this video, I'm going to show you how to export your designs in various formats.
Here I have a design I've been working on, and I'm at the point where I'd love to export it to share with friends or on social.
But first, I want to crop it to the perfect size.
Cropping designs for social media platforms
At the bottom right corner, I'm going to tap on the Crop tool, and here I can drag the handles to focus in on my subject.
Or if I knew the platform I'll be sharing this on, I can select one in the list at the bottom.
Tapping on Instagram, for example, gives me a few additional options like Story.
I'll drag the photo to position it where I want it in the crop boundary and tapping the Checkmark will apply my crop.
It's time to share.
At the top right-hand corner, I'm going to tap the Share icon, which will bring up this panel.
Using quick export for fast sharing
For one step exporting, especially if you're working with transparent images, you can Quick export as PNG, which is an online-friendly format that preserves transparency.
But I'm looking for a bit more control.
Choosing export formats and quality settings
So, I'll tap on Export.
Here I can choose from a variety of formats including PNG, JPEG, PSD, and TIFF.
If I needed to keep my layers intact, so I can keep editing this file on another device, for example, PSD or TIFF are good options.
But since I'm only sharing this piece to social, I'm going to stick with JPEG, which is another online-friendly format.
The great thing about this Export option is I have control over the Quality, which can help optimize file size 12 would give me maximum quality but leave me with a slightly larger file.
So, somewhere in the 8 range should be a nice balance.
Once I press Export, we'll see the standard iOS share sheet,
Sharing and saving exported images on iPhone
where I can now choose where I want to save, share or send the image, including AirDrop, Messages or opening in a specific app.
Of course, if I simply want to save to my camera roll, I can tap Save Image down below.
And that's about it.
A nice and simple way to export your designs using Photoshop on iPhone.
What you’ll learn
Size your image
Crop your image to the best size for your use case. Take advantage of built in preset sizes. For example, to size an image for an Instagram Story, tap the Crop tool, tap Instagram, and choose Story.
Choose an Export option
When you’re ready to share your image, tap the Share icon. Tap Quick Export as PNG for an instant export without a lot of options. Or tap Export for a choice of file formats.
Choose a file format
If you tap the Export option, you can choose the best format for your intended use. Tap JPEG or PNG for online use. JPEG is best for a photo; PNG for an image with transparent areas. If you want a layered copy of your image for further editing on another platform, tap PSD or TIFF. Some formats offer more options to choose from, like the Quality setting for a JPEG.
Export
Finish by tapping Export and choosing the destination for your file. If you just want to save to your camera roll, tap Save Image.
If you need copies in other formats, you can always export again in a different format.
