You can boost image quality, clarity, and sharpness with generative upscale in Photoshop for the web, and it's a whole lot of fun.
Let me show you what I mean.
I have this photo of a camera that fits perfectly with my design, but the original was taken at such a low resolution that artifacts and pixelation start to appear as I zoom in on the details.
Generative upscale can help me a lot here.
With the image layer selected, in the generative area of the toolbar, I'll click on Generative Upscale.
From here, I have a few options that control the way Photoshop reimagines the image.
In the model dropdown, I can choose from the latest AI models, either from Adobe or select partners.
Just below that, the scale amount lets me control how much upsampling I apply.
With those all set, I'll click Upscale.
And wow, that's pretty amazing.
Notice the details as I zoom in.
I can toggle the change I've made off and on again by clicking on the visibility icon to the left of the layer name.
You can really see the difference.
And that's a very quick look at generative upscale in Photoshop on the web.
