- Open the relevant PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
- From the All tools menu, select Edit. Then choose to add an image.
- Find and click on the name of the relevant image file.
- The image should then appear on your PDF page.
After adding an image, it’s simple to rearrange things:
- Start by hovering over the image.
- When the move icon appears, press and hold it.
- You’ll then be able to drag the image to the correct position on the page.
You won’t be able to move or rearrange PDF pages if the file has certain protections. For example, the document might have a security password or restricted editing:
- Document-open password. This stops you from opening the PDF without the right password.
- Permissions password. This type of password can prevent you from taking certain actions. For example, editing or copying the content in the PDF.
To gain full access, you’ll likely have to get in touch with the file owner or creator.
To present PDF content in a specific order, simply highlight a page thumbnail. Then drag and drop the page into the location you want.
Want to shift the orientation? You can do that too. Need to delete a page? Just select the dustbin icon.
