How to rotate a PDF file online

There are many reasons why you might want to rotate your PDF. Maybe you scanned them, but they’re in the wrong position? Or maybe a page needs rotating for easier printing? It might even be part of a wider PDF edit that includes merging PDFs or converting them into PowerPoints.

  1. Start by pressing 'Select files' or dragging and dropping your PDF from your file system into the drop box on the site.
  2. Pick the PDF document that contains the pages you want to rotate. Adobe Acrobat will automatically upload your document for you.
  3. The pages of your document will be laid out on your screen. From here, you can select the pages in your PDF that you want to rotate. You can hand-pick each thumbnail or choose to select all.
  4. Once you’ve selected your pages, you can click 'rotate clockwise' or 'rotate anticlockwise' in the top toolbar. Alternatively, if you move your cursor over a page, you can select to rotate it – you’ll also have the option of deleting pages from your PDF.
  5. Click 'Save' to retain any changes to your PDF document. You’ll then be able to preview, download, and share it via a document link. You’ll also be shown a handful of related tools, so you can keep working on your PDF once it’s rotated.
