Sales of Adobe® OnLocation™ software ended on April 23, 2012. Development of Adobe OnLocation is being discontinued based on the growing trend in the video and broadcast industry toward tapeless, native workflows. To address the need for logging and ingest in tapeless workflows, Adobe is introducing Adobe Prelude™ CS6 software. While not a direct replacement for OnLocation, Prelude is an ingest and logging tool for file-based footage that helps ensure your media is tagged with the right information and is easy to find, allowing for more efficient post-production workflows and improved lifecycle management of your footage.

Try Adobe Prelude CS6
We encourage our valued Adobe OnLocation users to try Adobe Prelude CS6 for ingest and logging of file-based footage. Adobe Creative Suite® Production Premium or Master Collection customers who upgrade to CS6 will be able to access Adobe Prelude as part of CS6 Production Premium or CS6 Master Collection software, as well as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud™ membership.
