Changes have been made to the FlashHelp compiler so that the "Info Bar" doesn't come up when FlashHelp is viewed locally or from CD.
  • Updated the Context Sensitive Help (CSH) APIs affected by XP SP2's popup blocker:
Updated the VB & C++ CSH API files in ...\programfiles\robohelp office\CSH API so that XP SP2's popup blocker will not prevent the call from working correctly.
  • Stops XP SP2 Popup blocker from interfering with the CSH Test tool:
Updated the CSH API used by the "CSH Test" tool so that it's not blocked by XP SP2's popup blocker.
  • All RoboSource Control version control patches to date:
These RoboSource Control patches resolve some minor issues that could prevent communication between RoboHelp and the source control database on some configurations.

For RoboHelp HTML users:

  • Fixes the error: "The window name "windowname" passed to HH_GET_WIN_TYPE has not been specified" when compiling HTML Help layouts
  • Fixes airplane Help calls made through the context-sensitive Help API that are blocked by popular popup blockers such as the Google toolbar, MSN Explorer Bar and other popup blockers
  • Fixes support for JavaHelp 2.0
  • Removes the dependencies for the redistributable HHActiveX.dll
  • Fixes Related Topic controls inside of Dynamic HTML drop-down hotspots that are not functioning.
  • Fixes intermittent problem with conditional build tag expressions in the preview window.
  • Because of the way Microsoft Word handles Digital Certificates, users that use Printed Documentation layouts for the first time after 6-7-03 will get an error.

RoboHelp Version X3

Printed Documentation Security Fix

Because of the way Microsoft Word handles Digital Certificates, users that use Printed Documentation layouts for the first time after 6-7-03 will get an error.

Who is Affected? Anyone who runs Printed Documentation (X3 only, RoboHTML only) for the first time on or after 6-7-03. Anyone who has already generated Printed Documentation before 6-7-03 will not get the error, and will be able to generate Printed Documentation.

WebHelp Merge Fix

This fix specifically addresses the issue of merging more than 13 WebHelp projects with the WebHelp Merge module. This fix pertains both to Merging WebHelp projects with the WebHelp Merge Module, and Merging WebHelp Enterprise projects on a local machine (not the RoboEngine Server).

To Install:
Unzip the .js file and replace in:

C:\Program Files\RoboHelp Office\RoboHTML\WebHelp5Ext\template_stock

By doing this, you won't have to replace the file in the WebHelp output every time you generate.
