Animate text and images with keyframes in Premiere on mobile

Move beyond templates and add animation to your videos using position, scale, and opacity keyframes.

What you’ll learn

Set keyframes to animate properties

Keyframes let you define a starting and ending state for any layer property while automatically filling in the frames in between. Use them to create slow drifts, rotations, and scale shifts that give static images a sense of motion.

Animate text on and off screen

Add text and use keyframes to slide it into frame from either side. Add additional keyframes to the opacity for a gentle fade in.

Add easing for gentle motion

Use the ease button to control how the animation speeds up and slows down. Ease out will give your animation a glide with a gentle stop.
