Hi everyone!
My name is Angelo Montilla, and in this tutorial, learn how Adobe Acrobat and Express together can generate polished presentations using source documents and detailed text prompts.
I'll also go over how to choose a template that matches your desired style, and edit content on slides with ease.
Let's jump in and take a closer look at Generate presentation in Adobe Acrobat.
To access Generate presentation in Acrobat on the web,
Upload source documents
I'll hover over the Create button at the top of the page and you'll see the Generate presentation option.
Alternatively, I can simply click the Generate presentation card located at the top of the page.
I can now upload my source documents by clicking the Add files button, and then choosing Your device.
I'll drag and drop two PDF documents that I'd like to use in the presentation project.
In this example, I have a campaign performance summary and Q2 revenue infographics for a fictional e-commerce growth agency that helps brands attract customers.
Next, I can click Use for presentation.
With the content loaded, Acrobat will suggest prompts based on my source files.
However, in this case, I want to add my own custom prompt to create a professional sales and marketing presentation from this campaign performance report.
Acrobat will even give me some options to strengthen the prompt, but in this case, I'll go with my original text.
Next, I can click the Customize button
Customize your presentation settings
where I can adjust the Length, Audience, and Level of Detail.
In the Length menu, I'll choose Medium, which is the perfect number of slides for this project.
I also have the option to make it Short with 2 to 5 slides, and if I wanted something lengthier, I could choose Long with 10+ slides.
I also have the option to add a custom number of slides to this project.
However, in this case, I will choose Medium (6-10 slides).
Next, I'll focus on the Audience menu to ensure that the message conveyed in this presentation reaches the proper audience.
In this example, I'll choose Marketing Teams as well as E-commerce Executives.
And finally, in the Level of Detail, I'll choose Medium, which will hit on all the key highlights from the source files that I uploaded to this project.
I'll click Continue, and then choose one of these template designs powered by Adobe Express.
I think in this case, I'll choose this template which has a nice design and looks professional.
And next I can click Continue again to review the outline and structure of my presentation.
Edit and organize slides
To edit the slide content, click the Pencil icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of each slide card.
Alternatively, I can click inside of the card to access and edit the text.
Let's just say I wanted to update the text in the title.
I can click inside and add the word 'Revenue' at the beginning.
And I can click away when I'm finished editing.
I can also click and drag the slides to change the order.
If I wanted to swap Slides 1 and 2, I could simply drag the second card above Slide 1.
However, in this case, I'll revert back to the original order.
I also have the option to add more slides by clicking the + icon located in the upper right-hand corner of each slide card.
This will add a new slide directly below the one you had selected.
And if I want to delete this slide, I'll simply click the Trashcan icon to delete it.
I'll click Generate to finalize my project and create my presentation deck.
That'll take just a few moments to generate.
Finalize and present in Adobe Express
My presentation launches in the Adobe Express platform, and it produces visually stunning results while touching on all the key points from my PDF documents.
I can even make further edits to the content here in Express.
As an example, I can click this image on the fourth slide, choose Replace, and then Replace with upload.
I'll choose a different image called digital marketing, click Open, and you'll see the content update live on the slide in real time.
To download the project, I can click the Download button located in the top right corner of the screen to save it as a PDF, or if I click the Present button at the top of the screen, I can present it directly here in Adobe Express with interactive features such as a mouse pointer and smooth page transitions included.
And that's all you need to do to confidently generate presentations using Adobe Acrobat and Express.
