Leverage pre-comps in your project

Pre-comp are a way to group layers so they can be animated together, while maintaining any layer-specific keyframes you already added. Duplicating your pre-comps allows you update each instance while only updating the original.

Animate a pre-comp

Modify your pre-comp by changing properties in the Properties panel. Add keyframes to animate all the layers in the pre-comp at once.
