Introduction
Firefly Video has a motion reference control that will allow you to upload any video, and it will extract that motion and mimic it in your video generation.
This gives you far more control when it comes to generating your ideas.
My name is Kelsey Brannan, and you may know me as Premiere Gal on YouTube.
Let's jump on in and show you how this works.
From the Generate video page, let's scroll down to Camera
Upload a motion reference
and here you can click on Upload video, Your device, to upload your motion reference.
In my case, I filmed a handheld video circling around my dog as a reference because I want to generate a video where the camera circles around the subject in a handheld way.
And it's okay that our dog is the subject here.
Because Firefly is only extracting the motion from the video, not the subject.
In this case, the circular motion.
After this, we can also select a Style preset.
Let's choose Cinematic.
Now let's go to the text Prompt.
Enhance your prompt
To add more detail, let's click on Enhance prompt.
As you can see, we cannot add yet a Frame reference when we have a motion reference uploaded.
This is why it's important to use Enhance prompt to add as much detail as possible.
And now let's hit Generate.
Generate and review
And here's the result.
As you can see from this example, you can film the motion that you want your final video to have just with your iPhone, and then you can use Firefly to bring the final details to life.
I hope you found this useful and I'll see you next time.
Bye.
