Let me show you how to quickly create a transparent sticker cutout using Photoshop on the web.
First up, we need to select what we want to turn into a sticker; and what better way than to use the Select Subject button on your contextual taskbar.
Now that our selection is ready, it can be easily cut out from the background using the Create Mask button.
And the checkered pattern indicates that this design is now transparent.
If you ever need to modify that mask, you can add or subtract by brushing on your canvas.
So this almost looks like a sticker, but we're missing one important element a crisp border around the outside.
At the top of your Layers panel, let's add a new effect, and we'll want to choose Stroke.
Here, we can increase the size of our border to our liking, choose whether it's on the outside, inside, or center of the object, and a new fill color can be set down at the bottom.
With our sticker looking great, it can now be downloaded to your computer.
And to keep the transparent background intact, you'll want to save it out as a PNG.
And that's a look at creating a sticker cutout using Photoshop on the web.
