3D graphics are everywhere.
They're used in product design, motion graphics, movies, video games and e-commerce.
3D is only becoming more important and accessible these days.
If you want to get started with 3D, we'll break it all down for you.
I'm Laurens Corijn, I'm a Lead 3D Technical Artist at Adobe, and I've been working with 3D for over 15 years.
I spend a lot of my time teaching and explaining 3D concepts to people just like you.
We've put together this course to help you understand that 3D process.
By nature, the 3D creation process can be longer and more involved than 2D artwork.
3D artists use multiple applications, and they often switch between them using different kinds of data.
In this course, continuing on from our previous one, we'll take a closer look at the final five of those steps.
That means we'll talk about how to use UV unwrapping to map 2D textures onto 3D shapes.
You'll get an overview of how to do baking and how that connects with the texturing phase, and we'll explore how motion is added to 3D scenes through rigging and animating.
And finally, we'll look at how 3D scenes are staged and rendered.
