If I have downloaded a comp image from Adobe Stock Photos and want to purchase it, what do I do?: If the image you would like to buy is labeled with an Adobe Stock Photos image ID number, you'll first need to determine the name of the original stock provider and image ID number. Locate the Adobe Stock Photos image ID number for your downloaded comp either in the file name if you have not renamed the comp, or in the file name in the image metadata. Then convert the Adobe Stock Photos image ID to the supplier ID number using the image ID converter. Once you have this information, simply contact the provider directly to purchase the image.

What will happen if I try to perform an image search in Adobe Stock Photos?: All image collections have been removed from Adobe Stock Photos and the search function will no longer return results.
What will happen if I try to access Adobe Stock Photos from the Bridge button in InDesign and Illustrator?: If you do not run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller, Adobe Stock Photos will launch and you will see an information page about the Adobe Stock Photos discontinuation.
What will happen if I try to purchase Adobe Stock Photos images from within InDesign and Illustrator?: If you do not run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller, you will see an error message when you attempt to purchase an image directly from InDesign or Illustrator.
What will happen if I try to view an image license agreement from within InDesign or Illustrator?: If you have not run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller, Bridge will launch and display the image license agreement.

Removing Adobe Stock Photos

Can I remove Adobe Stock Photos from Adobe Bridge in my Creative Suite 2 and Creative Suite 3 applications?: Yes. The Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller is available through the Adobe.com downloads page. Once you run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller, Adobe Stock Photos will be permanently removed from Adobe Bridge.
Why should I run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller?: Running the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller will remove Adobe Stock Photos from the Adobe Bridge environment within your CS2 and CS3 applications. This will streamline your workflow by removing functionality that is no longer operational like Get Price & Keyword, Find Similar/Keywords, Add to Cart, and Purchase This Image found within Adobe Bridge CS3, Bridge CS2, Adobe InDesign® CS3, and Adobe Illustrator® CS3.
What happens if I choose not to run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller?: If you choose not to run the uninstaller, you will continue to see Adobe Stock Photos in Bridge, but will be unable to purchase images from the service.
If I run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller and then later have to reinstall a Creative Suite 2 or Creative Suite 3 edition or standalone application, what will happen?: When you reinstall your applications, Adobe Stock Photos will reinstall within Bridge. You will need to run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller again to remove the service.
If I run the Adobe Stock Photos uninstaller, will there be any changes to the Adobe Stock Photos folder on my hard drive?: No, the Adobe Stock Photos folder and its content will remain intact on your hard drive

How do I purchase content directly from the image suppliers that were included in the Adobe Stock Photos service?: To purchase directly from any of these image suppliers, simply visit their individual websites.
If I purchase an image directly from an Adobe Stock Photos image provider, will the provider have access to my Adobe Stock Photos order history?: No, Adobe Stock Photos image partners do not have access to your Adobe Stock Photos order history. If you require your Adobe Stock Photos order history, you can contact Adobe Customer Service until June 1, 2008, to retrieve it. In North America, contact Customer Service online or at 800-685-3505.
