How to cut through the noise with clear, confident communication.
Andy Lambert, Principal Product Manager at Adobe Express, reveals how clear frameworks and consistent communication help ideas land and stick. Because when people truly understand you, that’s when growth follows.
When it comes to communication, every element in your design either adds clarity or causes distraction.
Andy’s approach is simple: remove what doesn’t serve the message so what stays can shine.
The Remove Object tool in Adobe Express helps you strip away anything that diverts focus to ensure your content communicates exactly what it needs to.
Let’s try it:
1. Open your design or template in Adobe Express
Take a step back and reflect on what your key message is, and what elements could be distracting you from communicating that.
2. Find the Remove Object tool
Open this up in the editing toolbar. Now play with taking things away. Ask yourself, is this adding to my message or diverting attention to what truly matters?
3. Brush away the distractions
Gently swipe over any element that doesn’t serve your story - a background shape, a watermark, even something as small as an out-of-place dot. Try stripping your design right back, only adding elements back in after you’ve interrogated if they’re truly needed.
4. Admire the clarity
In a second, Adobe Express cleans it up and blends the background seamlessly. With fewer distractions, your message feels sharper and more confident.
Because sometimes the best way to say more is to show less.
Brands grow when they show up--clearly, regularly, and with intention.
The Content Scheduler in Adobe Express helps you keep consistent. With a clear calendar view and built-in creative tools, you can map out content that looks and feels like you.
Here’s how:
1. What’s going on in your world?
Open the Content Scheduler and look at the days or weeks ahead. Think about key moments or themes you want to show up for.
2. Plot your ideas visually
Use the left-hand panel to note content ideas - launches, thought leadership behind-the-scenes moments.
3. Need some inspiration?
Click the Generative AI assistant to suggest post ideas, captions, or hooks to bring your content schedule to life.
4. Drag, drop, and design
Pull your visuals or templates straight into the calendar and preview how your content will look. It’s like storyboarding your brand in real time.
5. Step back and spot the rhythm.
See how your feed starts to take shape. Showing up consistently isn’t just about being seen; it’s about being remembered.
Sometimes, you can see an idea clearly in your mind but struggle to bring it to life.
The Generate with AI features in Adobe Express transforms prompts into visuals, to give you that create spark.
Andy’s top tip: The clearer you describe your idea, the closer it’ll get to what you envision.
Try it now:
1. Start with a spark.
Think of something you’d love to visualise - a mood, a setting, a message.
2. Open Generate Image
Write a short, vivid prompt. Be specific: “A minimalist workspace with a bold green accent colour” will go further than “office.”
Hit Generate and watch it appear.
In seconds, your idea becomes something you can actually see.
3. Tweak until it feels right
Adjust the prompt, try a new style, or refine the lighting until the image feels right for your brand.
