Master the basics of Substance 3D Stager, a professional staging and rendering app. This follow-along lab is perfect for professional 3D artists new to the software as well as designers completely new to 3D. Guided by Jeanette Mathews, MAX Master and senior product manager for Stager, you’ll explore the app’s intuitive interface, learn the key workflow for staging a 3D scene, and produce your own photorealistic imagery in 3D.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Arrange objects in 3D space using transformation, snapping, and collision
  • Adjust the appearance of objects using the rich material and image layer system
  • Light a 3D scene to highlight subjects and adjust tone
  • Capture final images using cameras to frame and render images from your scene
