ABOUT THE SESSION

It’s never too early to start telling your story through career branding. And once you’ve started, why stop? This session challenges all students, especially those who are expecting to enter the workforce soon, to take control of their own narratives through career branding and digital portfolios. Join Todd Taylor, Adobe pedagogical evangelist and professor of English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, to explore two student case studies, one in medicine and the other in digital media. Both are examples of powerful portfolios that recently launched impressive careers because they began crafting their stories early in school. You’ll take from this session starting points for career branding through digital storytelling and, more importantly, inspiration from the two success stories and an empowerment mindset.
