Generative credits are tokens you use to generate AI content across Adobe Firefly and Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Adobe Firefly plans include a monthly allocation of generative credits that reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Learn more about generative credits.
All paid Adobe Firefly plans include unlimited access to standard generative AI features like Generate Image, Generative Fill, Generative Expand, and Text to Vector Graphics. Premium features — including Generate Video, Generate Sound Effects, Translate Audio, Generate Speech, Generate Music, and access to partner AI models from Google, OpenAI, and others — use generative credits from your monthly allocation. Higher tier Adobe Firefly plans include more credits and additional perks.
Adobe Firefly Standard at US$9.99/mo is the best plan for individual creators who primarily need AI image and vector generation, offering unlimited standard generations and 2,000 generative credits for occasional video or audio work. If you regularly create AI video content or need access to Adobe Photoshop on web and mobile and Adobe Express, the Adobe Firefly Pro plan offers additional credits and bundles both apps. Your best choice depends on how frequently you use premium features like video generation, audio translation, and partner models.
Adobe Firefly Premium at US$199.99/moper license is the best plan for teams and businesses producing high volumes of content, offering 50,000 generative credits and unlimited access to the Adobe Firefly Video Model and standard generations. For organizations already using Adobe Creative Cloud, Creative Cloud Pro at US$69.99/mo includes 4,000 Adobe Firefly credits and access to 20+ Creative Cloud apps. Enterprise customers can also access Adobe Firefly Custom Models and IP indemnification through enterprise-specific plans. Learn more about Adobe Firefly Custom Models.
Adobe Firefly combines commercially safe AI models, IP-friendly training data, built-in Content Credentials, and deep integration with industry-leading Adobe Creative Cloud apps. Unlike standalone AI generators, Adobe Firefly gives you a seamless path from AI generation to professional production — plus access to top partner models from Google, OpenAI, and others, all in one place.
Yes, generative credits from your Adobe Firefly plan can be used for generative AI features across Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Lightroom, and Adobe Express. Credits are shared across the Adobe Firefly web app, mobile app, and compatible desktop applications within your plan. Your credits reset monthly on your billing date and do not roll over. Learn more in the generative credits FAQ.
When you run out of generative credits, you can wait for your monthly reset, upgrade to a higher Adobe Firefly plan, or apply a credit add-on plan to your existing subscription starting at 2,000 credits. On any paid Adobe Firefly plan, you still have unlimited access to standard generative features even after your generative credits are exhausted. Adobe will not charge you for additional credits unless you choose to purchase them.
Outputs from Adobe Firefly AI models are safe for commercial use. Adobe Firefly models are trained on licensed content and public domain content where copyright has expired, and Adobe automatically attaches Content Credentials for transparency. You’re responsible for determining whether content generated by partner models is appropriate for your project. Eligible enterprise customers can also receive IP indemnification for select Adobe Firefly outputs. Learn more about Adobe Firefly for enterprise.
