On Amazon, where marketing and selling move fast, creativity and speed go hand in hand. Without both, even the best ideas struggle to break through.

For Podean, a global agency built on collaboration and the ability to adapt quickly, the pressure to deliver high-volume Amazon creative had grown intense. Every campaign meant multiple teams, multiple handoffs, and a constant sprint to keep up with shifting specs, consumer trends, and seasonal demands.

That all changed when Podean started using Amazon Ads on Adobe Express.

A crowded marketplace and a growing need for speed

On Amazon, every brand is competing for attention, creating demand for high-quality creative. Even seasoned teams feel the crunch when specs and formats change on a dime.

Podean helps some of the world’s leading and challenger brands find their footing on Amazon. They manage clients’ media strategy, retail readiness, and creative execution to create stand-out ads that perform.

This blend of strategy and operational readiness is especially important for OluKai, a Podean client and premium footwear brand with a large and fast-growing catalog. Seasonal swings drive consumer demand. Slippers surge in winter, sandals peak in warmer months, and new styles are always launching.

“The scale of OluKai’s offerings requires constant agility,” says Clare Swan, Director of eCommerce Media at Podean. “Customers shop differently by season, so our team has to pivot quickly to keep up.”

From 85% Amazon Ad rejections to zero with real-time policy validation

Before Amazon Ads on Adobe Express, creative development for Amazon ads moved through several steps. Each team played a critical role, but compliance checks often happened late in the process. If an adjustment was needed, the workflow circled back again. Historically, that meant three to four rounds of revisions for a single set of assets. Those delays made it harder to react quickly to trends.

“For viral moments, you have such a small window of time to capitalize on additional traffic,” says Emily Browning, Head of Content at Podean. “By the time we finished developing creative, the moment was gone.”

The Amazon ads integration changes that rhythm. Real-time policy validation in Adobe Express helped cut revisions down to one. In addition, previously, up to 85% of assets submitted to Amazon required compliance revisions before launch. Now designers can check specs directly within Adobe Express, review policy flags in real-time, and make adjustments on the spot — before ads leave the platform. Now those compliance revisions are virtually not existent.

With fewer rounds, fewer surprises, and faster paths to approval, the team can deliver relevant ads while the viral moment is still live.

Better creative, in less than half the time with Adobe Express

In addition to getting instant policy guidance, designers no longer need to memorize specs or rebuild templates from scratch. Adobe Express automatically formats creative for Amazon ad types so designers don’t need to recreate assets for each placement. Now, Podean can run display, video, and even streaming TV all from the same workflow.

“Designers can think without having to worry about the specs,” adds Browning. “They can just go in and do what they do best, without memorizing every Amazon ad requirement.”

With compliance and formatting handled in one place, teams stay closely aligned throughout the process. “Our teams understand each other’s needs sooner, and the workflow becomes more connected and intuitive,” says Swan. “I no longer need to communicate with the client and the content team and the designers to make sure that the ads are in their appropriate place. I trust that everything is where it needs to be.”

Producing a set of Amazon assets — from creative brief and design through compliance checks and revisions — used to take four to five hours. Now it typically takes one to two. Campaigns that stretched across two to three weeks now go live in less than a week.

“Keeping up in such an oversaturated environment is impossible without the right tools,” says Browning. “Amazon Ads on Adobe Express gives us the transparency we need to respond quickly and efficiently.”

That clarity also makes the entire operation more scalable. For Podean, that translates into more creative, for more clients, in a more strategic way.

“Now that we have more time for strategy, we're able to offer more creative ad solutions and we can service clients that we weren’t able to before,” adds Browning.

Up to 3x more creative assets for OluKai, when it matters most

For OluKai, the timing of this new workflow matches the pace of business. Holiday slipper season once meant long lead times and repeated revisions. Now Podean adapts existing assets or develops new ones much faster. With Amazon-ready templates, real-time policy checks, and direct export into Amazon Ads, designers see what needs adjusting as they work. The team gets a clear, streamlined path from creative concept to launch during moments when speed matters most.

That speed shows up clearly in how Podean works with OluKai’s existing creative. The team was able to take OluKai’s pre-designed, pre-approved templates, export them as editable PDFs, and upload them directly into Adobe Express. Designers then quickly adapted those assets for different Amazon campaigns without starting from scratch. In a single week, that workflow enabled the team to produce more than 50 designs, compared to roughly 10 assets over several weeks before. At scale, that same workflow now supports hundreds of Amazon-ready assets per week across multiple ad placements.

With this momentum in place, designers can create up to three times as many ad variations per campaign, and Podean can test more ideas without adding more time. They can also quickly see which messages and visuals are getting attention, driving returning customers to convert.

Those time savings unlock real business results that enable Podean to be more strategic in every facet of their work. “No other tool gives us what the Adobe Express Amazon Ads integration provides,” says Browning. “It addresses the major pain points in the creative supply chain, especially when it comes to advertising. We can do more with our time and test more efficiently, which means better performing creative for our clients.”
