How to translate a video with Firefly.
Open the Firefly Translate Video module. Drag and drop a video file recorded in one of the available languages. Your file should contain at least five consecutive seconds of speech and be no longer than five minutes.
Once your file has finished uploading, Firefly will automatically detect the source language for video translation. From there, you can select up to five target languages from the supported list, including English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, German, and more. If you're an enterprise user, you also have the option to enable Lip Sync, which helps match translated speech with the original speaker’s mouth movements for a more natural experience.
Click Generate to begin the AI video translation. Firefly can quickly translate video into multiple languages. You can check the status of your video in the progress bar.
When done, your newly translated file will appear in your queue, where you can download and share it.

With AI dubbing, you can translate videos with any type of dialogue. Whether you need to localize a clip, translate something for a friend, or make your movies more accessible to a wider audience, AI makes it easier than ever to share your videos.
An AI video translator is a tool that automatically converts dialogue in a video into another language using artificial intelligence. It works by transcribing the original speech, translating the text into the target language, and then generating subtitles or translated voice audio that matches the timing of the video.
Voiceover is a narration over the top of a scene that often provides additional commentary. You can add insight into a character's emotions, explain how something works for a training video, or educate audiences in a documentary. On the other hand, dubbing is when you translate the original dialogue of a movie or a video clip into another language.
With AI video dubbing, you can create a more natural sounding translation for your video files to reach a wider audience around the world in less time.
Yes, you can re-translate a video back to its original language. However, it's important to note that the re-translation may not perfectly match the original due to potential nuances lost during the initial translation. For the most accurate results, it's recommended to retain the original version for reference.
The best tools for video translation accurately convert speech from one language to another while preserving tone, cadence, and context. Adobe Firefly includes a Translate Video feature that uses AI to translate and dub spoken content in videos into over 15 languages, keeping the original voice character and providing an intuitive workflow that makes it easy to localize content for a global audience.
