Natasha Polozenko, also known as Nataszko, introduces a new approach to concepting and mood boarding using Firefly boards. In her tutorial, she demonstrates generating fashion design ideas through firefly.adobe.com/boards. She begins by dragging inspiration shots from the Adobe Stock Library onto her board, which can also include videos, art, and sketches. The platform allows users to remix images, generating new options and applying style references or composition prompts. Features like Chat GPT enable instructional editing, while the VO model creates imagery with motion. Natasha organizes images by theme on artboards, using subprompts to set composition references and experiment with styles. After sharing her boards with a client, she refines her chosen concepts in Photoshop, showcasing Firefly's potential in bringing creative ideas to life.

Hello, my name is Natasha Polozenko aka Nataszko all over the web and I'm so excited to introduce you to a completely new approach to concepting and mood boarding. And in this tutorial, I'm going to walk you through a project in which Firefly Boards helped me generate ideas for a fashion design and illustration concept. Let's dive in. I'm going to go to firefly.adobe.com/boards, and I'm going to start off with some inspiration shots from the Adobe Stock Library, simply dragging them onto my board like so. If I select all my images and click Arrange, you'll see that they're now all neatly organized for me. And it's also good to know that you can also import videos here too, as well as your own art and sketches. You can also search for inspiration directly inside of Boards, which you can also do in full screen mode if you like. And here's a small collection of images that I sourced earlier using this feature. Let's generate some new ideas from this imagery. Select two or more images and hit Remix. And you'll see that it has generated a few good options for us. Now if we click Load on a remixed image, it opens up a Prompt bar, and by selecting Sample from canvas and clicking on another image, you can use the whole image as a style or composition reference, or use one of these prompts. For example, I'm going to select style reference here, hit Generate, and you'll see we have some new options to pick from. You may have also noticed that there are also different models to choose from. For example, the ChatGPT model allows for instructional editing, meaning you can suggest changes to your imagery. So, if I select this image as my reference, and let's say I want to 'Change to a mint green color scheme and make it more glowy', it will create that version for me. And the Veo model here actually allows you to create imagery with motion. Let's test that out. Super cool. Let's take a high-level look at my board. Here are my images with a few extras I generated beforehand. Now I want to organize these by theme. So, I'm going to go ahead and create myself some artboards selecting a dark background, and I'm going to use the Text tool to create a title. And now I can drag artwork to this board and arrange it to show a curated set to my client. So fast forward, here are three different boards with imagery organized by theme. I've also dropped the isolated sketches of my handbag and dress onto my boards, and using sub-prompts, I'm going to set them as composition references and to try out different styles from my imagery. I've also chosen to Remove background in these tests just to keep things clean and consistent. In a matter of minutes, I really helped bring each of my different concepts to life. So, now by simply clicking Share, I can grab a link to send over to my client for feedback. And to fast forward, my client was most drawn to the mushroom dress and the textured fabric handbag. So, now by simply opening this image up in Photoshop, I can have it there easily to reference as I go through the process of bringing my illustration to life. There we have it. This is just one of the many ways that you can use Firefly Boards to bring your concepts to life. Until next time. Bye for now.

No matter which generative AI models we may use within our creative apps, like the moodboard maker, user content is not and will not be used to train generative AI models.
Today, when generating images in Firefly Boards, users can select between Adobe’s proprietary models or a non-Adobe model from the drop-down menu in the generate panel.
We provide access to information on the non-Adobe models that users can use in Adobe apps. Still, it is the responsibility of the creator to decide whether non-Adobe models are appropriate for their project, considering factors such as the model’s focus, how it was trained, and whether or not it is safe for commercial use.
